Wolf Woodworking has been in operation since 2002 when I
received my first scroll saw
(Sears 16"), from my wife, on my birthday. I was
not really sure what I was going to do with the saw, but once I had it I enjoyed
the freedom and the flexibility that it gives to woodworkers.
I have been doing home renovations (decks, fences, basements)
for some years (in my spare time from my real job), but never did any small fine
detailed work. When I received the saw I had to get out to the shop and try it
out right away. I thoroughly enjoyed it and have been addicted ever since.

I started out by making Xmas / Birthday / Anniversary gifts
for family members, until they had all they could handle. Some of them suggested
that I should sell some of my works at local craft shows and decided to give it
a try. I enjoy meeting all kinds of very interesting people, hearing stories
about crafting and also, not to sound modest, the positive feedback about my
work. I still enjoy the craft show circuit.
I started doing portraits about 4 years ago, after getting my first
portrait book from Gary Browning, and really enjoyed creating the patterns (I do my own photograph conversions on my computer
using Adobe Photoshop), from photographs,
and seeing people's faces light up when I presented the finished product to
them. Shortly after word got around, I started receiving orders from people at
work, people in the neighborhood and from family members and it took off
from there.
